DPX1500 HexFet Power Amplifier

These well proven work horses have just got even better. We have developed highly-reliable linear power amplifier stages using cost-effective high-power switching HEXFET devices instead of the pricey lateral MOSFETs generally used by our competitors; enabling more of the production costs to be put into a bigger power supply.

Behind the scenes, we have increased the air flow and heat-sinking by 30%; added a special circuit to keep amplifier output at max even when being pushed to the limit (many of the branded amplifiers’ outputs will droop with heavy bass pressure, especially the 2ohm type). Plus we have made it look good!

All the amplifiers feature the very effective load sensor, dual in/out balanced XLR connectors, so standard XLR link leads can be used. Also fitted is an additional ‘Speakon’ sockets wired for 4-way speaker cables and/or bridge output hook-up.

All units are 19″ rack-mount with a rack fitting bracket design that allows variable front-mounting depth and adjustable rear support brackets for better security.
